I'm so happy you like it!! But if I'll redraw it at some time, I think I'll add some background too. What do you think? :D (Big Grin)

I'm such a wuss when it comes to backgrounds. I get a little lazy with them and I feel it takes away from the drawing. The drawing is so great as it is now. I'd be afraid to mess with it.

I see you feel the same as I feel about backgrounds!! When faces are finished, I also get lazy and defer the moment to add other elements, so often drawings remain as they are!! Giggle

I'm fascinated by the mix of media  you choose to use.  The result is wonderful.  And it helps that I love the subject as well.  I love how his hair came out in this.

I'm happy to have made your day.  I agree that nice comments are always encouraging, so I try to make sure to let people know when I enjoy their work.  I do a lot of work in this particular fandom (Tolkien related) too, so I enjoyed your work as well as the subject you chose.    I'll look forward to more from you.

You're so warmhearted!! Heart Thank you, I'm always reinforced and motivated by your comments!! This piece took me almost 8 hours...I'm persistent, I think, but I always think it's never enough, so I must force myself to upload my pieces at some point!!

You possess such talent, so don't beat yourself up! Persistence is a good thing, just don't become too much of a perfectionist and forget to enjoy your work! :meow:

Wooow this is stunning! Skin is so smooth and colorful. It looks great. Eyes and cilia are mapped in detail. They have a depth... Everything looks coherently, so your job is well done. You have a great talent, so keep good work!

I like the addition of the white ink in the piece. it makes the lines appear stronger, and the contrast to be more effective. it also was a brilliant idea, because it brings the white background into the piece, so it concretes the Thorin into the piece.  Beautiful, and well done. La love
